Ivy Farrell Recruitment UK works with candidates, clients and suppliers and only collects the information absolutely necessary to provide its best possible service.
As a recruitment business our role is to assist clients with their business growth and recruitment needs by introducing top calibre candidates to the client for permanent employment or long-term contracts. The exchange of personal data of our candidates and our client contacts is therefore a fundamental and essential part of our business.
In order to support both our candidates and our clients’ we require a database of candidate and client personal data containing historical information as well as current resourcing requirements. To maintain, expand and develop our business we need to record the personal data of prospective candidates and client contacts to keep in contact with regards to relevant job opportunities in the market.
Candidate information is required to assess your eligibility through the different stages of recruitment and is collected either directly from yourself or through publicly available sources such as LinkedIN, Facebook, various Job Boards or by reference or word of mouth from a friend, a former employer, a former colleague or even a present employer.
This information includes CV, identification documents, right to work information, educational records, work history, employment, references and financial information as well as your email address and contact details. We may also collect sensitive personal data about you, related to your health, diversity information or details of any criminal convictions and further process this data, where you have given your explicit consent.
Where you engage with us by submitting a CV, applying for a job, or registering on our website we take your consent as given unless or until you opt-out. For other types of e-marketing we require your explicit consent.
What We Do With Your Information
Candidates: The information we collect from you is needed to assess your eligibility for our available opportunities and will be collected from you at different stages of the recruitment process. If you do not provide the personal data necessary or withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data, we may not be able to match you with available job opportunities.
Clients: We collect and use only the information necessary to provide you, or people in your organisation with services of headhunting and sourcing the best available candidates for your opportunities.
Suppliers: We collect and use only the information necessary to be able to contact you and pay you for the services you provide.
Website Users: We collect and use only the information necessary to improve your experience when using our website. This may include how, when and how often you visit us.
Who We Share Your Personal Data With
Candidates: We share your personal data with the client for the client to determine whether you are a good fit for their available position. We may also conduct checks on you to verify the information you have provided and, where we do this, we share your information with our appointed background checking company.
Clients: We share your data with candidates during the course of providing recruitment services to you, and with third parties as part of our contractual relationship.
Suppliers: We share your data third parties as part of our contractual relationship.
Please be assured we will never sell, rent or trade email lists with your information to anyone.

Retention Of Your Data
